This Saturday, August 3rd, we will be hosting Geoffrey B. Small at Atelier New York for an intimate meet-the-designer event.
This Friday, September 8th, we will be hosting an intimate gathering for Geoffrey B. Small, whose artisanal designs have found a loyal audience over the years of his working in the Venetto region of Italy. During the event you will be able to examine Geoffrey’s work in person. A representative of the brand will be on hand from 4 to 8 p.m., to personally guide you through the collection.
We again teamed with Atelier New York to open the StyleZeitgeist pop-up, as people have been inquiring about the products they missed the first time around. We will be ready by 5 p.m. this afternoon and the shop will be open for ten days through December 18th. While we have sold out of some styles and we now offer the rest of the products online, there is nothing like experiencing these products in person. We will also have back issues of the magazine and the limited edition poster.
As part of our 10th anniversary celebration we will open a pop-up shop inside the new storefront location of Atelier New York. We will carry exclusive items from many designers we have supported over the years and who have graciously agreed to create exclusive products for the shop. All of the products are either new styles or have been customized in some way. Most come in limited editions of three to five pieces. Some come in editions of ten or eleven. In the coming days we will begin releasing product imagery. I will try my best to be at the pop-up every day, so come and say hi.
Atelier New York, an iconic menswear boutique that shuttered its doors in 2013, has reinvented itself, re-opening under new ownership as an eclectic shop for men and women. Since the rumor mill surrounding its rebirth has gone into overdrive, I decided to speak with Lu Han, the new owner, and Karlo Steel, the former co-owner who has remained at Atelier as head buyer.
We met in the lobby of Hotel Americano in West Chelsea, around the corner from where Atelier is now located on the tenth floor of a building in which other tenants are art galleries and fashion companies.
Last week we co-hosted an event for the tour of Yang Li and Genesis P-Orridge with Atelier at White Box in New York. Below is our coverage.
Dear readers – this Saturday we would be happy to see you at the Yang Li & Genesis P-Orridge event, presented by Atelier New York
